A primavera chegou e Kenai acordou de sua primeira hibernação com um apetite voraz. Ele e seu irmão mais novo, Koda, estão animadíssimos para cair na floresta e saborear os melhores frutos. Durante essa jornada, Nita, uma antiga amiga de infância de Kenai, reaparece. Crescida, Nita precisa se casar seguindo as tradições de sua tribo.
