As imagens do documentário são parte desse vasto acervo pessoal nas mais diferentes mídias: Super-8, VHS, Mini DV, k7 e fotos. O filme se debruça sobre esse material para traçar um recorte único, íntimo, da carreira e da vida dessa singular figura da cultura nacional.
