IJÓ DUDU, MEMÓRIAS DA DANÇA NEGRA NA BAHIA é um filme documentário construído a partir da Memória Viva. Uma DENÚNCIA POÉTICA, contada através das vivências e saberes das Mestras e Mestres pioneiros e protagonistas da Dança Negra na Bahia. Uma memória de corpos, mentes, ideias ousadas e corajosas de pelo menos duas gerações de mulheres e homens negros que fizeram de seus corpos as ferramentas principais para se afirmar na luta política, mas sobretudo se afirmar enquanto mulheres e homens, negras e negros. A Memória da Dança Negra na Bahia é também a memória da resistência negra na Bahia, memória da história da Bahia e memória da resiliência democrática da Bahia. O documentário é idealizado e dirigido por José Carlos Arandiba “Zebrinha”. Produzido pela Modupé Produtora em Cooperação com a Fundação Pedro Calmon/SecultBA.
