Elya, de 20 anos, é estudante e futura ecologista. Um dia, Matvey, chefe de uma empresa de construção, chega à sua universidade para falar sobre um plano de desenvolvimento no local de um antigo parque florestal. Elya não hesita em quebrar seu projeto em pedacinhos. Matvey fica intrigado com a autoconfiança da garota e usa seus métodos habituais de influência - ele simplesmente tenta "comprá-la". Mas Elya não precisa de um patrocinador. Então Matvey, surpreso com sua inexpugnabilidade, oferece a Elya uma aposta: sete dias românticos de acordo com suas regras. Se depois disso a garota ainda decidir ir embora, ele se recusará a construir um arranha-céu no parque florestal. Ela concorda quando Matvey realmente suspende o trabalho de design. Elya se vê como a heroína do filme Pretty Woman, mas Matvey acaba não sendo a pessoa que ela imaginou.
