Tomás cultiva uma fixação por Mariana desde a infância, quando começou a colar fotos suas em um álbum de figurinhas que escondia consigo. Na adolescência, seu álbum é exposto a Mariana por seu colega Gabriel em um momento humilhante e violento, com o qual Mariana compactua. Esse corte criado no passado se prolonga no tempo, como um fio que demarca o destino de um menino, deixando um permanente nó na garganta. Até que ele decide reencontrar os colegas e demonstrar como se sentiu.
