Marvin Mage é um fracote que sempre sonhou em ser um policial mas nunca teve físico para tal profissão. Sua vida era um completo fiasco até sofrer um grave acidente automobilístico, que quase o matou. Para salvar sua vida, um cientista decidiu por fazer uma inovadora cirurgia, que reconstruía seu corpo com órgãos de animais. A experiência dá certo e a partir de então Marvin fica famoso e se torna um superpolicial. Porém, logo os novos órgãos fazem com que Marvin passe a ter instintos animais, que se manifestam nas piores horas e das maneiras mais bizarras possíveis.
