Nesta explosiva trama de tribunal, dois homens encontram-se em lados opostos da lei. Um pai devotado e um promotor feroz lutam pelo mesmo objetivo, achar o culpado. Num julgamento rápido e corriqueiro, Demond Doyle (Jo D. Jonz) é condenado por estupro e assassinato da esposa de seu patrão. Para desespero de seu pai, Demond recusa sua defesa e Jacob Doyle (Dutton) nada mais pode fazer, a não ser acompanhar a condenação do filho. Desesperado em tentar provar a inocência de Demond, o pai toma todo o júri como refém e faz apenas uma exigência, ele quer que Ned Stark (Caruso), o homem que condenou seu filho, procure evidências que comprovem o não envolvimento de Demond com o crime no prazo de 24 horas. Baseado em fatos reais, a intriga conduz o espectador através de reviravoltas reveladoras.
