Dentro do armário da casa da costureira Jacira, em um velho casaco laranja, vive Teca, uma curiosa tracinha e seu ácaro de estimação Tuti. Quando a velha costureira vai devolver um livro na biblioteca da cidade, leva por engano Teca e Tuti em seu casaco. Tuti, mais uma vez, havia aprontado uma das suas. Fugindo com o laço de Teca na boca, some pelos labirintos da biblioteca e arma a maior aventura. Além do stopmotion, o curta "A Traça Teca" conta com outras técnicas de animação, como o 3D digital e o 2D, várias cenas em live action, com cenários e personagens reais.
