Clint Harrison é um pistoleiro que tem fugido por muitos anos de inimigos sedentos por vingança. Agora ele retorna a cidade que abandonara anos antes quando descobre que sua família teve que deixar a cidade e se mudar para tentar fugir de sua reputação. Com a intenção de corrigir os erros do passado, Clint sai em busca de sua família mas termina no meio de uma guerra entre simples fazendeiros e um rico rancheiro que deseja por suas mãos em suas terras mesmo que para isso seja necessário haver muita matança. Embora Clint tenha prometido a sua esposa nuncamais usar sua arma ele se vê obrigado a quebrar sua promessa quando os impiedosos homens do rancheiro começam a eliminar os fazendeiros numa série de ataques sanguinários.
