Durante uma pequena reunião informal entre um casal e um velho amigo, um conjunto aparentemente inocente de cartas de tarô torna-se o foco da festa. Gustavo compra a primeira carta apenas para revelar uma verdade incômoda sobre seu namorado, Milo, e o velho amigo, Alvin. “As cartas mentem”, interrompe Alvin. Mas será que eles fazem isso? Este jogo de tarô não é um jogo. Revela acontecimentos passados e desperta sentimentos antigos. Mas não é possível prever o que acontecerá quando Gustavo decidir agir e escrever seu próprio papel principal nesta história. A carta dos Amantes superará o Louco?
