Aventureiros, marginais, impulsionados por desejos de ganhar dinheiro a qualquer preço. Eles assaltam bancos e firmas, num crescendo de violência desmedida, cinco homens fora da lei, prontos a matar, se preciso for. A paisagem verdejante, o ar limpo, a cascata com seu ruído intermitente, o lugar ideal para um pic-nic, a clareira.
