Ambientado na zona rural do Sul dos Estados Unidos, na primeira metade do século XX, o musical “A Cor Púrpura" narra a luta de Celie (Leticia Soares) contra as adversidades impostas pela vida a uma mulher negra. Sua saga envolve questões como desigualdade, abuso de poder, racismo e machismo. A obra é baseada no romance de mesmo título (publicado em 1982), de autoria de Alice Walker. A versão brasileira do musical contou com duas exibições online, ambas em outubro de 2020.
