Uma sessão de pré-estréia de cinema para somente 9 espectadores ocorre numa grande sala da cidade. O filme começa a ser exibido e todos se preparam para curtir o entretenimento, mas a tela fica escura. Após uma confusão inicial surge a imagem de uma menina sendo friamente torturada por um homem vestido de Bate Bola, o palhaço de carnaval. Os espectadores ficam confusos e preocupados. Então descobrem que estão presos dentro da sala de cinema. A partir daí começam a ser torturados e mortos. Haverá um sobrevivente?
