A relação entre eles é vaga e sentem-se ligados por alguma razão; pessoas vivem em volta da janela tentando entrar na casa-prisão; um estranho ao telefone insiste em dizer que foram amantes e que têm provas da morte de Vera, que ela imagina ter sido morta no parque de diversões; uma voz robótica fala por telefone que ela será transferida, mas ela acredita estar sendo enganada; o carteiro oferece um envelope com conteúdo desconhecido e ela se recusa a aceitar; o visitante noturno é um carrasco, pois ele pode andar livremente pela cidade.
