Zig Zag é um rapaz de 15 Anos que vive com seu violento pai, Fletcher. Ele trabalha no restaurante de Toad, cuja principal diversão é apavorar seus funcionários. Zig Zag é diferente dos outros e tem uma enorme facilidade para guardar números. Assim, decora o segredo do cofre do restaurante e rouba todo o dinheiro depositado. Após saber do roubo, seu amigo Singerpassa a arquitetar um plano para devolver o dinheiro e evitar que Zig Zag vá parar num reformatório. A partir daí Zig Zag conhece um mundo diferente de tudo o que ele já viu.
