Ozualdo Candeias foi um motorista de caminhão enfezado. Nunca perdeu a verve dessa estranha forma de liberdade, aprisionado na boleia e tendo diante de si os itinerários variados do mundo. Dentre os tantos ofícios que exerceu, também estava o de cineasta da Boca do Lixo, num tempo em que fazer filmes carecia de brios e amigos. Ele tinha ambos em abundância. Sua complexidade pode ser agora revisitada num processo de colagens imagéticas e sonoras, pautadas por uma conversa franca e reflexiva, registrada no final de 1997, sobre o cinema de ontem, mas, também, sobre o de hoje.
