O filme narra a história da pré-adolescente Amanda (Sali Cimi) e a recente mudança para a casa de sua avó Lucinda (Marieta Severo) com sua mãe Sônia (Renata Grazzini). O imóvel é assaltado e as três saem com vida, mas Amanda sai também com uma ferida no rosto. Enquanto Amanda passa a ser ridicularizada pela sua aparência, tanto a rua quanto a casa se tornam ambientes hostis para ela. É quando a jovem decide encarar sua ferida, que ela e sua família passam por um processo de estancamento e amadurecimento de seus machucados físicos e emocionais.
