Martial, um jovem de 16 anos cujos pais se acabaram de separar, não está preparado para as mudanças bruscas que inevitavelmente acabam por acontecer. Após a partida do pai tudo muda: novo apartamento, nova escola, novos amigos e novo modo de vida. Tudo isto agrava o seu sentimento de exclusão na nova reorganização do dia-a-dia, tornando-o, a cada dia que passa, mais soturno e misantropo, de mal com os outros e consigo. Na escola, onde se sente totalmente desenquadrado, ele conhece Colette e Ernestine, duas estranhas irmãs gémeas que se tornam suas amigas. Os três entram então numa série de experiências excitantes, mas muito perturbantes.
