Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning começa com o capitão James B. Pirk da nave espacial Kickstart voltando para o século 21 na Terra com sua tripulação, para salvar a Terra de alienígenas hostis, mas perderam sua nave e ficaram presos. A rotina diária de Pirk consiste principalmente em encher seu estomago no restaurante de fast food local, e ele está achando difícil convencer as damas de que ele é, na verdade, um herói espacial intergaláctico do futuro.
