O filme acompanha três gerações de homens de uma mesma família húngara. Três seres aparte, cada um deles com uma estranha relação com o seu próprio corpo. Vendel Morosgoványi é um militar de baixa patente que exterioriza as suas necessidades sexuais da melhor (e mais original) forma que pode, vivendo numa ansiedade obsessiva na quinta do seu superior. O seu filho, Kálmán Balatony pôs a render a sua compulsão por comida em concursos internacionais. Do seu casamento com Gizi Aczél (Adél Stanczel), também ela uma campeã de comida, nasce Lajos, um magrelo taxidermista, condenado a cuidar do seu pai imóvel e dos seus três enormes gatos.
