Esta é a história de um dia na vida dos Babacas (isso mesmo, este é o sobrenome deles), uma família muito louca, que vive se metendo nas mais absurdas situações. Tudo começa quando Stanley o pai, descobre que estão roubando seu lixo e resolve seguir os ladrões. Decidida a solucionar o crime, a família Babaca acaba tropeçando no tráfico internacional de armas. Para Stanley, é o Sr. Remetente, uma figura diabólica de seu passado como carteiro, quem está por trás de tudo. Mas nessa confusão até a polícia e a imprensa, os terroristas, correios e alienígenas acabam envolvidos. Só mesmo os Babacas poderiam entrar numa encrenca dessas. E só eles podem sair.
