No século 14, durante a dinastia Yuan, os Mongóis dominavam todo o território chinês. Jinha, um migrante Koreo, e Sullie, filha de Taruga, um poderoso comandante Mongol, desde jovens estão apaixonados. Mas, para formar uma grande aliança, Taruga separa Sullie de Jinha e a leva para uma província distante onde pretende que ela se case com um poderoso líder do exército chinês. Porém, Jinha, o último praticante da mais poderosa arte marcial, conhecida como Bichun, parte em seu encalço. Durante sua jornada, várias surpresas o aguardam, sendo a maior delas descobrir que Taruga, anos atrás, foi o responsável pelo massacre de sua família. Perseguido, emboscado e dado como morto, Jinha ressurge como um misterioso e terrível assassino, movido a ódio e amor, e sedento por vingança.
