Os pilotos da Força Aérea Rick Williams (Ron Hagerthy) and Mike Nolan (Dick Wesson) tentam marcar um encontro com a estrela de cinema Nell Wayne (Janice Rule), que é da mesma cidade natal de Rick. As estrelas de cinema, interpretando a si mesmas, Doris Day e Ruth Roman acreditam erroneamente que Rick deve ser muito próximo de Nell e arrumam o encontro. O casal começa a namorar, especialmente depois de Nell, Doris, e Ruth conseguem mandar varias estrelas de Hollywood para se apresentar para os soldados em trânsito para a Guerra da Coreia, na Base Aérea de Travis. Um grande desfile de estrelas de Hollywood fazendo o papel de si mesmo. Doris Day, Gordon MacRae, Virginia Mayo, Gene Nelson, Ruth Roman, James Cagney, Virginia Gibson, Gary Cooper, Phil Harris etc...
