O Filme conta a história da obsessão dos homens com o poder e quão longe eles irão para reivindicar o prêmio. Duas gangues rivais em Los Angeles e Las Vegas, liderados por Gino e Cole, estão a disputar o controle. Danny, um detetive da polí*cia a* paisana, vai a fundo para se infiltrar numa das gangues do submundo do crime com o ojetivo de derrubar ambos. Ao longo do caminho, ele se envolve com a bela e sedutora Angela, cuja relação com o marido Jake faz dela o ponto crucial num intoxicante romance com consequêcias mortais. O sonho dela é escapar da ira de homens abusivos e maus, e encontrar o amor que ela nunca conheceu, mas sempre sonhou encontrar. Mesmo no submundo, as vezes os sonhos se tornam realidade, mesmo quando tudo parece impossível..
