Em um mundo onde ursos e homens dividem o mesmo espaço, o urso Beary Barrington, um pequeno urso de 10 anos, foi adotado ainda pequeno por uma família humana. Decidido a conhecer suas origens, ele vai asté o Clube dos Ursos Caipiras, no Tenesee, uma banda atualmente extinta, mas que fez muito sucesso nos anos 70. Porém, ao invés de descobrir sua história, encontra apenas um lugar em decadência. Decidido a ajudar, Beary começa sua grande aventura tentando reunir a banda novamente para a realização de um concerto beneficente.
