A Rússia está a sendo aterrorizada por uma bruxa má conhecida como Baba Yaga; o único que não tem medo dela é Bartok, o Magnífico. Bartok, um morcego albino, acaba de chegar em Moscou e está impressionando a todos com suas performances, incluindo o príncipe Ivan Romanov. No entanto, uma pessoa não está impressionada; Ludmilla encontra Bartok chato e ingênuo. Depois do show de Bartok, um urso violento de repente o ataca.
