O filme mostra todos os ingredientes das comedia clássicas dos anos 80, quando dois jovens (Jim Carrey e Alan Thicke) vão a uma estação esqui para um final de semana de belas mulheres e muita competição. Bobby (Jim Carrey) não tem muita sorte com as garotas - suas piadas e palhaçadas quase sempre não dão muito neste paraíso na neve. Jackson (Alan Thicket) não vê a hora de competir no torneiro Worid Pro-Amski, mas antes ele precisa resolver seus problemas... que não são poucos. Além do excelente elenco, o filme conta com a participação do campeão de Ski, Jean-Claude killy, e das lendas da música Rita Coolidge e Ronnie Hawkins.
