Após 17 anos na cadeia, Eugene Brown tenta recomeçar a vida trabalhando como faxineiro em uma escola pública. O local enfrenta diversos problemas causados por um grupo de alunos problemáticos, que conseguiu até mesmo expulsar uma professora.
