Descendents e All são duas improváveis bandas punk surgidas na Californa no final dos anos 1970. Guitarras, medicina, ciência e amizade misturam-se de forma as vezes natural as vezes por fatalidade. No final dos 1970, quando ser nerd não era algo admirável, quatro moleques de Los Angeles apareceram para mudar completamente o cenário da época. Com suas melodias Pop aceleradas e letras falando sobre café, comer muito e peidar o dia inteiro, cantadas por Milo Aukkerman e lideradas por Bill Stevenson, eles acabaram transformando-se na máxima referência do Hard Core melódico.
