Depois de sofrer um acidente muito estranho no parque de diversões Gollyworld, Jimmy Roberts é obrigado a passar por um transplante de cérebro. Ele recebe então, o cérebro congelado de Milt Appleday, um famoso cartunista. O cérebro novo de Jimmy dá a ele a capacidade de ver todo o elenco de animação de Appleday, na vida real. Agora Jimmy tem que administrar dois mundos: o seu dia-a-dia no mundo real e o mundo animado gerado pelo cérebro de Milt.
