Miguel e Beatriz estão casados faz 7 anos, mas o amor em comum já não faz parte das suas vidas. Agora, enquanto Miguel viaja na Internet e se esconde nos jogos de computador, Beatriz refugia-se nos programas de televisão que se dedicam a recuperar casas, jardins e divisões moribundas. Cada um com o seu mundo, a vida passa a ser virtual, por troca com a realidade. Então o inesperado acontece. A porta fica encerrada por dentro e o casal vê-se privado do regresso. Fechados na varanda daquela vivenda isolada do mundo, Miguel e Beatriz têm agora de coabitar juntos.
