O filme narra o encontro e a aproximação lenta de dois jovens em Berlim. Marlo, que diz estar visitando sua namorada. Ele vaga pelas ruas de Berlim, onde encontra Kirill. Ele começa a segui-lo, o que parece impressionar Kirill. Uma estranha relação começa a desenvolver-se entre os dois. Quanto mais Kirill se expõe, mais confuso Marlo fica. Eles flutuam um ao lado do outro, sem saber quem deve dar o próximo passo. “Juventude Silenciosa” é um filme para desajustados, sonhadores e amantes. É a clássica história de amadurecimento, mas centra-se nos momentos em que as pessoas tendem a esquecer rapidamente.
