O tempo está no futuro e a violência dos gangues juvenis é tão elevada que as áreas em torno de algumas escolas tornaram-se “zonas de fogo livre”, nas quais nem mesmo a polícia se aventura. Quando Miles Langford, diretor da Kennedy High School, decide retomar sua escola das gangues, o especialista em robótica Dr. Robert Forrest fornece "unidades de educação tática". Esses são androides incrivelmente semelhantes aos humanos programados para ensinar e recebem soluções devastadoramente eficazes para disciplinar problemas. Então, quando os estudantes violentos e descontrolados da Kennedy High comparecerem para a aula amanhã, eles receberão uma educação de verdade... para permanecerem vivos!
