Divertida comédia que marca a estreia do diretor Roberto Faria. Zé Trindade é um chofer de táxi que tem uma verdadeira paixão pelo seu carro e vive discutindo com seus passageiros. Um dia, ele, a esposa e a filha recebem a visita de um advogado, que lhes entrega uma herança de R$ 15 milhões, vinda de um parente desconhecido de Portugal. Mas tudo não passa de um golpe para encobrir o dinheiro do assalto a um banco, ocorrendo a partir daí inúmeras situações engraçadíssimas.
