Fernand Naudin, um gangster envelhecido, espera ter uma aposentadoria tranquila quando, de repente, herda uma fortuna de um velho amigo, um antigo chefe gangster conhecido como o Mexicano. Apesar de estar indeciso em relação à sua nova riqueza, Fernand fica desconcertado ao descobrir que herdou também a filha do seu benfeitor, Patricia. Infelizmente, Fernand não só tem de aturar a moderníssima Patricia e o seu namorado nauseabundo, como também tem de se confrontar com os antigos empregados do Mexicano, que estão determinados a reclamar a sua herança.
