No entanto, Dr. Kohmyoji morreu em um acidente e um ano depois o projeto foi liderado por seus rivais, que começaram a usar o projeto para seu próprio benefício pessoal. Para salvar o projeto original, Jiro, o andróide Kikaider, aparece para salvar os filhos de seu criador Mitsuko e Masaru, que têm a chave para completar o projeto.
