Ji-Eun, membro do grupo de dança da Coreia do Norte e filha do líder norte-coreano, foge para o Sul após uma de suas apresentações. Ansiosa para explorar a vida liberal em Seul, Ji-eun procura uma nova vida de liberdade na Coreia do Sul. Ela logo se depara com Joon-Ho, líder de uma banda de rock local. O relacionamento deles então toma rumos inesperados à medida que eles se aproximam. Enquanto isso, a agência de inteligência da Coreia do Sul fica sabendo de uma conspiração orquestrada pela CIA americana para interromper a paz na península coreana; a CIA planeja sequestrar secretamente Ji-eun. Forças secretas do Norte e do Sul relutantemente concordam em trabalhar juntas para evitar uma possível guerra entre seus dois países.
