Um simples roubo de diamantes leva Lupin em maquinações de um culto bizarro. O culto é baseado na profecias de Nostradamus, e eles sequestram Julia, filha de Douglas, um americano rico que está buscando a presidência, juntamente com o diamante de Lupin. Em jogo está o livro perdido da profecia que Douglas tem no cofre, na parte superior do seu arranha-céu. Lupin pode resgatar Julia, encontrar um caminho para a abóbada, e descobrir a ligação entre o culto e o sequestro? E sobre seu diamante?
