Três irmãs - Sachi, Yoshino e Chika - vivem juntas em uma casa grande na cidade de Kamakura. Quando seu pai - ausente da casa da família nos últimos 15 anos - morre, eles viajam para o interior para seu funeral, e conhecem Suzu, sua tímida meia-irmã adolescente. Após criar laços rapidamente com a órfã, elas convidam-na para viver em Kamakura. Suzu ansiosamente concorda, e uma nova vida de alegres descobertas começa para as quatro irmãs.
