Lupin tenta e não consegue roubar um valioso conjunto de chapas fotográficas japonesas. O legítimo dono das placas, Michael Suzuki, é um multimilionário que se prepara para abrir um enorme parque aquático em Tóquio. Lupin tenta obter a ajuda de seus firmes camaradas Jigen e Goemon, mas os considera menos confiáveis; Jigen está sofrendo de uma dor de dente que atrapalha sua lendária pontaria, e Goemon vergonhosamente teve sua espada, Zantetsuken, roubada por uma mulher e dada a Suzuki para exibir em sua coleção de arte. O grupo trabalha em um plano com Fujiko para obter as placas e o Zantetsuken.
