O que eles fizeram entre eles não era nada comparado com o que eles fizeram com o inimigo! Durante a Segunda Guerra Mundial, um coronel americano que nunca esteve em combate é encarregado de criar uma uma unidade especial de combate combinando um grupo de soldados canadenses e um bando de desajustados do Exército dos EUA anteriormente cumprindo pena em prisões militares. Após um período inicial de conflito entre os dois grupos, a sua inimizade se transforma em respeito e amizade e a unidade é enviada à Itália para enfrentar uma perigosa missão que tem sido até agora considerada impossível de ser concluída com êxito. O filme é baseado no livro de 1966 do mesmo nome, co-escrito pelo romancista e historiador americano Robert H. Adleman e o coronel George Walton, um membro da brigada. (e 16 - Estimado 16 Anos)
