No centro desta trama está o jovem Paul Conway, um pequeno gênio da ciência, recém-chegado a uma cidadezinha para estudar formas de inteligência artificial na universidade local. Uma de suas realizações de alta tecnologia chama-se "Bee-Bee", seu incrível robô de estimação, dotado até de voz. E uma de suas novas amigas é a encantadora vizinha Samantha. Quando trágicos acidentes lhe arrebatam "Bee Bee" e Samantha de uma só vez, Paul, com seu talento, decide recuperar o amor perdido. E como um moderno Dr, Frankstein, ele, descobre tarde demais que criou um monstro alucinado. Samantha vai deixando por onde passa sua marca registrada: Terror, Medo... e sangue! Tudo isso numa espirituosa combinação de susto e divertimento!
