Em um futuro próximo a Terra se tornou um lugar desolado e perigoso. Agora habitada por por uma misteriosa raça de criaturas, a humanidade foi forçada a encontrar refúgio em SkyArk, uma cidade feita pelo homem no céu. À medida que a população cresce, o espaço torna-se escasso e só os ricos e poderosos podem ficar, despejando os pobres e órfãos de SkyArk à Terra abandonada. Entre eles está um menino, Rags, filho de um comandante destituído que está determinado a salvar seus companheiros órfãos e exilados. Junto com seus amigos ele deve lutar pelas ruínas da velha Terra contra a horda de monstros alienígenas afim de voltar a SkyArk e trazer a paz de volta ao povo.
