Em 1950, a Rádio Brasil (RB) recebe seus artistas para algumas dublagens, outros tantos comerciais e, principalmente, interpretar seus papéis na radionovela Um Assassino Está Entre Nós. Tito Balcárcel dá voz às peripécias do galã em filmes de gêneros variados ao lado da estrela Lyla Van e interpreta o mordomo Matias, ele vive às voltas com suas fantasias folhetinescas até apaixonar-se por Lúcia. Jovem ambiciosa, indiretamente envolvida num crime, ela colocará o romântico Tito no centro de uma teia rodeada de pequenos mistérios. Som e imagem apontam um caminho nada comum nas diferentes histórias vividas pelo protagonista de A Hora Mágica.
