O filho de uma família de agricultores iranianos em Israel se rebela contra a vontade de seu pai. Yitzhak (Navid Negahban) se orgulha em manter a fazenda de perus que seu pai construiu quando a família se mudou do Irã para Israel. Com seu filho Moti (Asher Avrahami), prestes a fazer treze anos, Yitzhak espera que o menino aprenda o ofício e, no fim, assuma o negócio. Porém, o verdadeiro interesse e habilidade de Moti é a mecânica, reconstruindo carros antigos e caminhões. O filho não esconde seus desejos para o pai, o que gera um crescente conflito, pois Yitzhak vê a rejeição como um insulto a todos os valores que ele preza.
