Original e poético, A Família Dionti narra a fantástica história de um pai e seus dois filhos, Kelton, de 13 anos, e Serino, de 15, que vivem em um sítio no interior de Minas Gerais. A mãe não mora mais com eles, pois derreteu de amor, evaporou e partiu. Enquanto todos os dias sonha com a volta da mulher a cada chuva que cai, o pai cuida dos filhos com olhar atento, preocupado com a possibilidade de que tenham herdado o dom da mãe. Mas Sirino é seco e chora grãos de areia. Já Kelton, ao se apaixonar pela primeira vez por uma garota de circo, literalmente se liquefaz de amor. A Família Dionti retrata de forma especial o tema universal da descoberta do amor, sem deixar de lado as cores regionais do interior do Brasil contemporâneo.
