Salvador, Brasil. Roberto (Chico Diaz) acabou de perder a esposa e está solitário e infeliz. Além disso, o relacionamento com seu único filho, Júlio (Caio Castro), vai de mal a pior. Um dia, após se embebedar e fracassar ao tentar contratar uma prostituta, ele acaba atropelando um garoto. Desesperado, ele coloca o menino no carro e o leva ao hospital mais próximo. Apesar do socorro imediato, Roberto precisa prestar esclarecimentos na polícia e corre o risco de ser preso. Paralelamente, Júlio está apaixonado por uma moça ingênua (Camila Camago) e a sustenta através do tráfico de drogas em festas badaladas que ocorrem na cidade.
