Dual e Dorothy são dois antivírus que cuidam para que nenhum problema aconteça no sistema. Elas escaneiam diversos mundos paralelos, que na verdade são backups do nosso mundo, e deletam os mundos que estiverem contaminados. Certo dia, uma menina aparece no mundo virtual delas. Quem é essa menina? O que ela faz ali? Ela é um programa, como Dual e Dorothy, ou uma humana? Juntas, as três meninas embarcam pelos diversos mundos de backup a procura de respostas e, pela primeira vez, Dual e Dorothy questionam a própria existência.
