Os atores lamentam e Balbini, o produtor, diz que após acertar as contas, contatará um novo financiador. Todos ficam de olho no milionário Gia Not que acaba de inventar o cinema em quarta dimensão. Paralelamente, Nelma e Carlos, o casal de atores que esperam a retomada das filmagens, brigam por causa da atriz Mimi. O professor Gia Not concorda em financiar o filme. Após inúmeras peripécias entre produtores, diretores e atores, o filme é concluído. Nelma e Carlos se reconciliam e acabam encabeçando o elenco de 'Doce Marmelada'.
