Dois anos após a derrota do Boo maligno, Tarble, o irmão menor de Vegeta, e sua esposa chegam ao Planeta Terra. Tarble veio pedir ajuda à Vegeta para derrotar a terrível dupla Ado e Cado, subordinados remanescentes do império de Freeza e Cold, que também desembarcam na Terra atrás de Tarble. Após tirar a sorte, fica definido que Trunks enfrentaria a dupla e Goten o ajuda. após um pequeno combate. fica evidente a diferença de poderes de Ado e Cado com os pequenos Saiyajins, o que obriga a dupla de extraterrestes a se fundirem num guerreiro poderoso. Goten e Trunks também se fundem, formando Gotenks, porém não são páreos para o novo inimigo, tendo que Goku ou Vegeta interferir para salvar Gotenks e todos os outros, então Goku e Vegeta vão atacar o monstro e Goku faz com que Vegeta se atrapalhasse e então Goku ataca o monstro desfechando-lhe com apenas um golpe.
